Funnily enough I went on this boat yesterday (Sunday) as I 'missed' it on my previous visit and wanted to see the real thing after the 'best flybridge' report.

The people are a bit smug - then realized that my boat owning friend of mine and I were taking to the boats' actual owner who is quite pleased with it and the builder.

We spent a long time looking at the engine space and were impressed with the quality. However it is not my taste (agree galley in wrong place) price is too high for the size and ......did you notice the Tv screen that sits conviently behind the cooker hob? 'Nuff said.

Raggie builders are just the same -- posted a rant about Moody's attitude on PBVO forum -- but in essence after booking an appointment, waiting 6 hours, salesman effed off when we went to look around-- no brochure, scarcely a hello...nothing....

Do I really want to buy a boat from a manufacturer like this or should I chose somewhere like Ocean Yachts of Greece who were superb and offerfed a similarly specced boat, great build quality and finish for 2/3s the price, with all the fun of going to Greece to spec the thing out, check on build progress, sea trials and a great trip back to UK with it?

Complained to Moody';s and Mr Moody came over and was very nice, offering us sea trials etc etc etc, but still bloody annoying....

went on their boats, I was going to give them what for, I have to say they were very friendly and chatty. I just did not have the heart to have a go at such nice people. Good choice btw, the boat is very nice...... Sorry to let you down Moose.

I suggest you copy this thead and post it on the Nordhaven site. If I were the boss I would certainly want to know how I was been represented at the Show.

They certainly had models of some huge power thingies... which looked very swish and expensive... mind you the saily bnoat series looks pretty swish and are in fact reasonable. They have a website I think. Certainly their apporach to prospective clients makes them worth a look.

Well I've been and given a huge amount of grief to Nordhaven, they just looked blank when I screamed at them they'd been extremely rude to a guy wearing moose horns.

They eventually called the police and I've only today been released after receiving electric shock therapy and a thorough beating!! And it's all your fault!!!

Dont worry about LJ he needs a good beating every day just to keep him under.../forums/images/icons/smile.gif
