What do I use. A chap who had a stall at Boat Jumbles was selling cylindrical shapes of something called (or pronounced 'seetle', which is the material you're supposed to use for rudder bushes because it doesn't swell in water. Anybody know what the material is called and where to get it please.

That's the stuff - thanks - now hopefully someone will know where to get it.

Ps not reading your blog - I don't need depressing any further /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

There is also a lubricant-impregnated plastic with very low absorbtion properties which is ideal for the lower bearing. Expensive !.
If the Alzheimers clears - I'll let you know what it is called.
