In April of this year, we bought a boat near Ipswich, and have spent the summer leisurely sailing her back to Scotland.

Contrary to tradition, and with apologies to Dylan Winter, we took the Keep Turning Right approach (i.e. clockwise), along the south coast, out to the Isles of Scilly, and up the Irish Sea, which turned out to be a good decision given the extended period of easterlies that we had for the first part of the trip, and now the more usual southwesterlies just as we turned north.

We are now having a few days on the Isle of Man before heading over to Ireland. We plan to get back to the west coast of Scotland in September sometime.

For anyone that is interested, I am trying to keep a blog of our trip at https://rubytuesday39.wordpress.com/.

Rob.

On Blogger, from Google, you can set the date and time of the post. Hopefully Wordpress allows you to do this as well - I could not get on with Wordpress.

It should all be in reverse chronological order, so you can start at the bottom post and read upwards if you want it chronologically. I’ll try and find the widget that orders them another way. Do you know what it is called?

Yes you can set the dates in Wordpress too, but I haven’t done that very often. Publish dates are approximately 1 week behind the actual events depending on when I g

..et time to do them.

I've enjoyed a brief read of your blog. Look forward to your account and pics on approach to Scotland!
There seem to be five "pages": https://rubytuesday39.wordpress.com/page/5/
Might that be another way of breaking it into sections? I have no knowledge of WordPress - just a random thought...

Edit: Page 5 seems to be June 4 - June 11, so might be used for an "index". Only problem might be that as you add new posts it might become page 6!!!!!!
Hope you enjoy fair winds and enjoyable times on Ruby Tuesday.
