In a domestic situation, I would just replace the entire pressure relief valve, but on board, access is difficult, so I need to replace the seal inside the PRV.
I bought a similar PRV, intending to cannibalise it, but the seal was different. I need something like the one shown in the photos. The top of the "top hat" is pushed against the stationary part of the valve by the spring and disc. The underside of the "brim" of the top hat retains a thin fibre washer to stop leakage coming out of the top of the valve. That's where the red colouring is from.
Various internet searches have failed to turn up a suitable seal. Does anyone have any ideas?
Many thanks.
