Most amusing sight, thanks to Sunsail, one of its dodgems trying to go up wind with a kite wrap on the forestay!
We saw that happen.
The wind built to around 25knts for a while and they dove down wind to stop broaching.
Trouble was they then got a twist round the fore stay as they went too deep and that was that.
No matter what they tried it wouldn't untwist.
We saw them heading off towards Cherbourg and then after the finish on out way back to Pompy we saw them motoring up past Ryde,
I counted seeing four Spinnakers destroyed and two broken masts between the needles and St Catherines.
Great fun if a little expensive.....
