Understandable chagrin
But little appreciation of the point of view of the media.
The scale of the venue, and the lack of obvious action make keelboat sailing hard to follow for anybody other than aficianados - and there are precious few in the UK, say 0.1% of the population. Just imagine the complaints from the other 99.9% about devoting their licence fee to such boring stuff.
Besides watching it is OK for couch potatoes - what's wrong with actually taking part?
