ISC handicap of 0.950. Anyone else with that sort of handicap?, What boat, I need to see what we are up against.

7:20 Rival Spirit, Rival 38. Dark blue hull and tan sails, ISC handicap 0.949. You'll notice us, we'll be the ones doing lots of shouting at each other whilst making a confident passage into every wind hole and patch of foul tide on the course.

Boat doesnt arrive til next week so we wont be there (and then has to be assembled).

Binkie - dont you guys know your way round most courses the fast way, seem to remember the name keeps cropping up?

No more yet - she's due in to Bristol on Wednesday next week, HYS on Monday (Customs willing!). Then the fun starts!

We used to pretty good, but that was a while ago, pre weddings, kids etc... Saturday will show whether age has improved us, or not.

Our start is at 7.10. We are a Halberg Rassy 352 with a handicap of.......0.881!! lol
Crew comprises:
Bow Man. Stand in Americas Cup Alinghi
Trimmers. Melges 24 and Mumm 30 European Champions. Short handed transat
Helmsman. 250,000 miles logged. Wiiner of Round Ireland, Fastnet and RORC.
Navigator. YM instructor
And more local knowledge the Almanac, Solent Hazards and Solent Tides put together.

On the other haand we all have a drinking problem and may miss the start.

Just rang Marinecall who are forcasting S/SE 3-4, increasing 4-5 then veering 4.
Let's hope they're right!
