Can anybody recommend a yacht club in Cowes where I can have a birthday lunch next Thursday lunchtime I am an Rya member. Asking for a friend.

The first place which springs to mind would be the Island Sailing club. Nice views, a good bar, outside seating if the weather is fine.
If you post on here you won't be allowed into the Royal Yacht Squadron

You could try RORC, I much prefer it to ISC.

Why does it have to be a club. Why not just a nice restaurant
