Round turn and two half hitches?

Really? 2 and 4 are unequivocally wrong.
Yes, in my original thread I attached an image from a book, but I can't find it now :(

In the second thread I posted (after the confusion over the duplicates) I posted this image:

It seems these are OK.

I think this makes it very clear that it's a clove hitch.

So what happens if you tie a RTATHH in one of the wrong ways above ? Presumably it comes loose ?

Certainly a lark's head pulls through at a load that a clove hitch does not. Although with a round turn around a rough cleat or bollard, in reality it would probably stay put ok.

But even if it works, a "round turn and lark's head" is not a round turn and two half-hitches.
