Can anyone help.
I have decided to renew the standing rigging on my Colvic Countess 28.
The mast is dropped and all the rigging is off except the forestay.I find I cannot get the furling foil sections either apart from each other or from the drum.
The screws holding the foil section spar lionks will not undo.
I have tried heat and WD40.
I think I will have to cut through the jointer and the forestay. If I end up doing this does anyone out there know if it is possible to still obtain these spar links? The Rotostay is a 1984 Type E system.
