Rotating displays

Any experience out there on displays which ROTATE their data items (wind, nav, gps etc), rather than showing several at the same time ? Sounds like a good idea, but how does it work when sailing ?

I guess you're right. It probably gets irritating after a while. Instead I have found today that Raymarine are introducing a new ST60 display at the end of the year which will show all Nav data (SOG, COG, XTE). That should get rid of my question about rotating data items altogether.

You could take a look at Signet instruments.
They offer up to 16 channels on one display out of a total of something like 60(depending on packages bought)! Number can be brought down to 8, 4, 2, 1 and analog as well. Pretty impressive stuff and has been around for the last 20 years!
