How do, everyone,

Book is called Rosie Darling, by Rosie Swale.

I thought it was going to be about her sailing a cat around the world.

Turned out to be more of an autobiography.
She is currently walking around the world whilst in her sixties. Wow.

I'm finding it quite a sad read at times. If it is all true, she was abused as a child, raped as an adult. The sailing bit is at the end of the book.

Then one review on amazon states that she was charged with the attempted murder of her husband, Colin, about whom she waxes lyrical in said book. Can't find out if that is true on Google and she still seems to have kept his name (Rosie Swale-Pope. Pope being added when she married Mr Pope)

Interesting read perhaps. She did sail a brand new cat across the Pond in the late 60's and early 70's which is quite something.

The book was called 'Children of Cape Horn', they did not circumnavigate but sailed the Atlantic and went around the 'Horn'.

That was a subsequent book, yes.
That is obvioulsly the one with more sailing in it.

This one simply ends with them having the boat built, and learning to sail and then setting off - at least that is as far as I have thumbed ahead. Photos include one of them onboard in the Pacific

The book actually starts with her giving birth onboard, near Rome, to her second child. It is only a paragraph, however. One has to wait until the end to get to more sailing.
