Ropestripper 15% off Jan

I have just ordered a ropestripper from the above for del. in January.For the first time in 30 years he is not at EXel but is giving a 15 % discount for orders in January. This has to be a good deal. Had a nice present from the Inland Revenue a chq for £400 and do not have to pay anything in January. This makes a nice change after being inspected and accused of all sorts of wrong doings. I was thinking of sending them a Xmas card,but thought better of it.

Sorry I won`t be at Excel, I went last year but did not like it. Earles Court was awkward in many ways but it was memorable. In 30 years we endured bombs, 3 day weeks, 25% vat, etc etc but each show had its own character and in the heady days when they had a central feature, the idea of "stepping off the earth for a while" was great. Excel was just boring. The on site Custom House Hotel was a disgrace, my room window fell out when I foolishly tried to open it at 2am to investigate the reggae band that struck up every morning. The food was awful and the show organisers were unhelful and unpleasant. Getting there is a real pain and getting out is nearly impossible, the car parks will not accept real money, only credit cards. My last memory is of being surrounded in the dark by a gang of non english speakers, thinking that my end had come I had the inspiration to offer a prayer to Allah. It worked and I made my escape and nothing on earth would drag me back.
