Last year I gave Ropes direct website here a glowing write up for their standard of service. It is often mentioned that the true measure of a company is their reaction when things go wrong. We retrieved our mooring pendants and were unhappy with the condition of the splices. We contacted Ropes Direct with photos. They replied immediately offering to replace the lines or a full refund. We opted for replacement. This they did within 36 hours including extra long splices, all at no cost. I am extremely impressed by the efficient and no-nonsense way in which they have dealt with this issue and would highly recommend them. Usual disclaimers - no connection except as a very satisfied customer. (Their prices are competitive too)
 
All my ropes have come from them over the past 5 years and I have found them to be excellent and very good value for money too.
 
+1 for RD. I ordered a 50m anchor warp in 3-strand. it was very loosely woven and "hockled" straight out of the bag. they replaced it free of charge with 8-plait (my impression was they had a supplier problem) and let me keep the original, which was fine to make a couple of spare mooring warps. So winner winner.
