I have rope clutches (Spinlock), 4 either side of companionway. I need some proper labels for reefing lines and halyards so crew can pull the right lines - my arms aren't long enough.
Tried tape with marker pen but it wears off and looks tatty. Any ideas?

Dymo Rhino 5200 or 6000 but buy the tapes from another supplier, much cheaper. Useful for instruction labels all over the boat and at home, wiring etc.

A Brother P-Touch label printer. Lasts for years out in the weather.
+1. Check the size of the indent on the clutch handle to make sure you get the right width tape, otherwise you need to use scissors to trim the tape to fit. For a really long lasting label, paint over the label with clear nail varnish: you could use any clear lacquer but nail varnish comes in small pots and is cheap if the wife isn’t watching.....
