I'm looking in to taking a boat up to the above regatta (https://www.facebook.com/roofoftheworldregatta)
in September 2014. Road conditions look too bad for a trailer which leaves me trying to stuff a dinghy in a van or getting something on the roof - it will be a journey overland from the UK (5000Km!).
So, the question is: what dinghy? Has anyone in the forum had experience of long journeys on rough roads with a boat on the top and which boat would be the recommended option for such?
