Insurance premium came through last year and it was big; but I expected that because after 30 years of blameless sailing we'd had two crunches in 6 months - underwater object and a mooring post.

When it was even bigger this year I followed Sailorman's advice and got a quote from Y Yacht and it was the thick end of £400 cheaper, so I recommend them to others with older boats and I owe Roger a beer.

After a change in the wording in my last policy I too took the advice here and went with Y Yachts, another beer owed :)
 
I guess at his age a half of shandy is the limit, otherwise it's the walk of shame a half dozen times in the night.
