What happened when you turned the hot tap on? ??

..as the Admiral and Navigator in chief ,any thing below below decks was well beneath my my pay grade, on this particular adventure .
Checking stuff below was of course delegated to the purchaser/crew.

Powered by a 150 HP VP 31 P , we did get get about 21 rather noisy knots.
It is, of course, on a shaft.
Needs a few bits, a heater for start and urgently some ropes to replace the knackered washing line with innumerable and immovable knots the previous owner was using for mooring up.
This is the skippers second Rodman , he already owns a somewhat rather larger one.

Almost certainly no. Just google for a few that are for sale and you see in the "galley" photos just one tap and it is blue. pressurised water though.

Thanks for that ,suspected as much, was definately a budget fit out ,set of trim tabs would have been nice as well.
The 31 appeared to have blnked off tappings to fit calorifier.

Was this the Rodman 700 for sale at Queenborough?

Yes.

First job is to get a chinaspacher warm air heater in there somewhere.
Need to find out the best place to put a hole in the fuel tank and urgently need to replace a missing wiper arm.
From the Garmin chart card, boat would appear to have started life down on the Solent before coming up to the "Med"
Rumored that the seller did not have the boat very long, any info most welcome.
The little 31 engine certainly gets the boat moving.
Did come out of the creek a fraction early and may have left a groove in the putty after leaving the flood barrier.

Is he keeping it over Rochester? I was looking at one of those but ended up with an Ocqueteau

The presence or absence of hoses from the thermostat housing to a calorifier would be an easy spot
