10 x Discerning skippers with immaculate craft off to St Kats and the multitude of interesting diversions of London Town.
Weather forcast . Probably F1 moderating and 25C. Suncream and Biminis.
A civilized 10.00 ETD. departure with a late lunch arrival in a handy restuarant right at the end of ones pontoon.
or
15 x boats off to enjoy the endless mud of the Essex coast, go round the Whittaker and then head back up the Crouch for ages past more mud to Burnham on Crouch Marina .
Weather warning. Usually .....F5-6 E NE direct from the Arctic with added sleet.
A crack of dawn ETD.....................

2 x boats off up to Allington lock. :)

Fond memories of early Easters spent sitting in Burnham watching sleet driven by the prevailing brisk bracing NE wind, melting as it slides down the saloon windows, knowing that a some point the electric fan heater will be required to assist the Eber preventing hyperthermia to occupants sheltering in the cabin.
Of course at some point there will be that trek up to the town.

I “fondly” remember an Easter Saturday trip from Great Wakering to Heybridge on a friends Eventide forty or more years ago.
A hair-raising bump through the Rays’n, flattened a couple of times by sleety thunder squalls, battling with a recalcitrant hand-start Stuart Turner and arriving just in time to miss last orders at the pub.
