The RNLI presumably makes no charge for the leaflets because it wants to ensure that they achieve maximum distribution. Having satisfied the demand for free literature, anything this chap manages to sell must therefore be in addition to that number - ie he is in fact furthering the RNLI's aim of maximising distribution.
Why there should be anyone stupid enough to buy them is another matter. I think the RNLI should consider employing him as their marketing adviser.

Not at all the benign and worldly-wise Nigel that his many helpful posts would otherwise suggest. I would imagine that practice would be addressed within the 'Computer Fraud and Abuse Act 1986' and/or the 'Computer Misuse Act 1990 as amended'.
Either way, a wholly disproportionate and probably criminal response to what was a distasteful but lawful act.
Perhaps Nigel is turning into a GOF in his dotage, hidden away there in the dark recesses of the European fringes. Or is it SAD Syndrome? Too much bed and no sleep....?

Well, most technophiles I know would think your 'punishment ' considerably worse than the 'crime'. I'm wondering what the moderator of this service would think of your illegal and criminal abuse of another registered member's personal information.
Interstingly, the site that you give in your bio for contact with you is a Kid's contact site called 'if.you.want.me.com'. I wonder what you call yourself - and how you present yourself - on there....?

Oo-er, that's a bit strong! If you look again at sbc's contact details, you'll see that he's been "clever" by putting "pm____@if.u.want.me" in the email section. This isn't an email address, it's a request for people to send him a PM if they want to contact him. Quite how you made the giant leap from that to an allegation that he participates in kids' contact sites is worrying.

Thank you for your support - I have just posted this on Scuttlebutt.

As many posters to this forum have pointed out, and you have acknowleged, what you are doing has questionable morals, and you state that running your car while on benefits is more important to you. I ask you to compare your position with some of our volunteer crew who are also on benefits, and who will risk their lives to save others.
Given that I cannot stop you, I would like to formally, and publicly, ask you to stop benefiting at the expense of a charity. You will earn the respect of many. >>>

I don't like the police-force on YBW now ... it seems to be growing and the character of the forums is losing it's charm. Sorry but the post has implied that I am unsavoury character ... you do not know me and I do not know you. So please leave it at that.
The post about using anothers e-mail to register actually happened TO me by another - I didn't even know the guy let alone do anything to deserve it ... giving me cue to use it against a real shiester that deserved every mail he rec'd.
AND I do not advocate using YBW reg'd peoples data ... the fact that the young lad has reg'd now was unknown to me at the time. I posted based on another post actually stating his e-mail address ... what the hell would I want to inspect anothers Profile for ? Get it right please.
