If so what's it like, recommended or not? Thinking of taking my new lady there sometime later this month so don't want to go somewhere that will disappoint.

Haven't been there myself, but was rafted up to someone in Yarmouth last week, who was singing its praises. Four star hotel standards of fit-out and good views from the Bar, so you'll have to spend most of your time there. The beer is cheap, apparently, if you really want to spoil her /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Somebody posted about staying there a couple or so months ago. I can't remember who it was, but a search may dig it up for you. They said it was good.
