RL80 flush mount?

You may remember our previous boat had RL kit
Here is a pic of an RL80 flush mounted

From memory, you don't need much to flush mount them.
The Raymarine kit includes some small studs with white plastic thumb screw/nuts.
And a small bracket to keep clamp the unit against the back of the panel you are fixing to.
But the correct thread for the stud is the important bit.

It's a long time since I installed one, but from memory they had eccentric cams that bolted to the trunion mount holes and had a lever to tighten the thing against the mount panel, that may have been a quick removal mount though as I recall they also had threaded brass bushes for studs.

Yep they have m4 holes on the reverse side of the flange. Just get some m4 studs or short m4 socket headed or button headed screws, to insert from behind, if access is good. Or m4 studding and those plastic hand nuts as used on plenty of boat dashboard gear. The flange is big so cutting the big hole in the dash is easy.
