Recommendations for a tool to rivet a new gooseneck to the mast, and other jobs.

I have a silver line lazy tongs riveter but it's never worked satisfactorily, the Jaws just don't grip the rivets properly.

I'd like something with a decent mechanical advantage that could be used, if needs be, from a bosun's chair (ie, one handed operation)

Likely not going to be used that often, but I do want it to work reliably without spending a fortune.

Recommendations from tools you've actually used please.

I've got one of these: Fdit Rivet Gun Head Attachment, Rivet Drill Attachment for Drill Riveter Electric Rivet Nut Gun Riveting Tool Riveting Drill Conversion Adaptor Insert Nut Tool : Amazon.co.uk: DIY & Tools

I had a different one with a plastic body which worked pretty well, but which failed after being used to set several large rivets; the circlip that holds the innards in place chewed up the body. Haven't really used this one, but the body is metal, so I hope it'll last better. But they are fantastic to use; the rivet pops quicker than you expect, and with zero effort. Given the price, if you've got a cordless drill, they're worth a punt.

That looks the biz for occasional work. I’ve got a Stanley one and some Lazy Tongs that I’ve used from a bosuns chair. Monel rivets can be hard work.

I’ve got several Makita 18v cordless tools so out of interest I looked to see if Makita do a cordless riveter in the range. They’re available on Amazon for over £600!!! I think they’ll stay there.

I bought this Laser Heavy Duty Riveter from Machine Mart about 10 years ago, its been regularly used and will handle Monel and S/S rivets as well as Rivnuts.
Not cheap but it's still working fine after ten years.
I had to grind down one side of the collet jaw to fit into a tight spot.
