My local paper reported this evening.Four people were stranded aboard a 35ft river cruiser at the mouth of the River Medway today.Mr ..........from B......... in Surrey had taken friends for a trip down the Thames but as the boat reached the rapidly widening estuary Mr W......... lost his way.Sheerness lifeboat located the vessel at 7pm last night.No one from this forum surely?

Dunno, but Coliholic's prone to rivering, and he's been quiet today....... Was there any mention in the piece about people falling into the water - that would confirm it

Nope .do not think anyone fell in as no mention of stomach pump type stuff from swallowing sewage.ps i suspect that who ever it was, the piece of string they tied to the post at the entrance to penton/bray/etc marina must have broke somewhere on the way downriver......
