The official British Marine Federation app, River Thames Guide, has been updated again and will roll out over the next 24 hours or so (except for the Android full version, users will receive the update via their App Store).
Improvements this versions:
Updated the map rendering engine
Updated graphics
-for non-tidal buoys and channel markers
-shown on the River Draught page
Map overlay panel now resizable
-swipe left or right
Added Navigation section to Advice
-Non-tidal buoys and channel markers
-Tidal bridge signs
-Tower Bridge rules
-VHF Channels
Improved Tidal Predictions
-choose a summary for all seven stations for today and tomorrow
-or open the detailed Admiralty page for any chosen station
-current fluvial flow shown with tide predictions (no longer a separate page)
Now showing sailing times of 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 mph
-in both journey planners
Users of the Android full version and new users should head over to the support site and follow the relevant download link.
