The River Thames Guide App is coming to Google Play!
Two versions are available: an on-line version (requiring an Internet connection to use the interactive maps) and a fully self contained version for use without the Internet (this second version is too large for Google Play so you will have to download and install yourself).

You can find the link to the beta on-line version on Google Play and a link to the off-line version (including help on installing an Android app yourself) here

Great to see an Android version now. I've even managed to get it working on my Android tablet (the offline version) once I'd worked out how to unzip the download.
Many thanks

After an initial hiatus I have it running on a Moto G with Android 5.1. Very good it is too - thanks very much for your efforts.

I use it happily on my iPhone, I also use WhatGas so I can locate nearby petrol stations for filling my cans - if petrol stations could be merged in to make it a single app that would be great . . . . :)

Sorry to disappoint but adding petrol stations is not going to be in development plan (most cars now have sat nav that finds service stations - ours certainly do).
I intend sometime to add an indicator of those boatyards with diesel/petrol.

Glad you like the app for the river...

I'll continue to manage with WhatGas so no problem. I do have it in my car satnav of course but that's no use to me when I'm pottering around on fumes somewhere in Berkshire or Oxfordshire wondering where I can fill a can or 2.

I clicked on "be a tester" and was accepted .. But it said I needed to download the app .. But i see no way of downloading it on a Samsung mobile!
No you have a link to the download please?
