Using any public slipway or harbour normally means having insurance. Boats don't have to be registered in the UK so you would just use the boat name. If you take the boat abroad you normally require an SSR number.I presume it would fall under this as id probably use the river a good few times a year? Also by the looks of the form the boat would need to be registered with a name/number? And have insurance? Sorry I'm very new to this so probably going to ask many basic questions, thank you
