River nene

Hi guys
The swing bridge at Sutton will be down for some major repairs to the hydraulic rams
Date will be 5/6th of June from 1900hrs untill 0600 hrs
This will effect both river nene and A17 traffic
There will be further closures

The grade 2* listed, Cross Keys bridge at Sutton was built in 1897 at a cost of £80,000 by the Midland and Great Northern Railway.
Until 1965, the seaward side of the bridge was for road traffic and the inland side for a railway line.
