Conditions are continuing to improve and Yellow Decreasing boards are now out at 5 locks above Oxford, 8 between Oxford and Hambledon and 7 between Hambledon and Teddington.

Latest update this morning shows Osney to Iffley "No Stream Warnings " !!!!

Rather more than "a few" yellows John - only 7 locks free of them as of noon today - but very nice to finally see the EA status page with no reds for the first time in many weeks.

I think it would have been perfectly responsible to go for a short trip and I planned to. But my son became upset because his feet were cold and wet after walking through grass to get to the boat. So I had to fill him up with hot chocolate and go home. You people with fancy marina moorings have it all
