River condition Temple to Marlow

Over the last few weeks I have been waiting for the red boards change to yellow so that I can go down river from Henley to Mosley.

It looks like Temple to Marlow is the last reach still on red. Should I wait or will more rain come?

That's odd looks like it might be an error, although Marlow lock layby can be a pain if the weir is wide open.

Marlow is always the last to go off red boards. One is exposed for quite a long time to that weir.

Red boards are dictated by the position of the main large gates approximately opposite the slipway.

It does have a strong pull and there would be very little time to deal with problems.

The high pressure is forecast to continue for a few weeks more so I will wait at Henley for the yellow board.

If there is nobody coming out of the lock, I might make an approach far away from the weir.
