Sitting here, nursing the last beer. Nearly bed time. Cat asleep by me... and an owl hooting in the background. Slight feeling of chill in the air but a river plan for tomorrow and we are now stocked up with wood and coal after The Narrowboat Trust did their delivery this week. It's a hard life...

I love the river at night , i get to spend an awful lot of time there ...

Watching the dawn at around 0330 in the summer at Teddington is a special time , and winter sunrises are great too.

As my weekend was completely buggered up (other thread), I pottered about between Sonning and Reading Locks today. On my way back through past Tesco, with boats moored all along the side, I saw two large NB's lashed together coming towards me......

Now I know what the Narrowboat Trust is......what a splendid idea!

They really deserve supporting. Working NBs and nice blokes too.
