My Ritchie compass has suddenly developed fairly major error.
I have recent upgraded the wheel pilot to a current Raymarine system, nothing else has been altered on the binnacle.
Some of the original cabling for the old wheel pilot disconnected and taped off.
Wintered ashore with no obvious metal objects adjacent.
Just puzzled! I purchased the yacht last year and did not have an error issue!
