RIP Hamish. Your Islands book has been a companion for many years and I would be poorer without it.

A sad departure. Knowledgeable and easy maritime flavoured reading with a soupcon of social comment here & there.
There can't be many folk who know the islands as well?
The book will remain on board!

Fantastic book and sad loss.
Landed on around 25 of “his” islands this year alone - and in some cases was off-piste of any pilotage information from charts, CCC Pilots or Antares, just relying entirely on H.H-S’ notes on possible anchorage/landing sites.
He has moved on but his Islands legacy will live on.
