Dear All,

I am trying to find a rigid tender and am struggling so would appreciate any suggestions. All the examples I can find are bright orange "Jaffa" type dinghies and I was trying to find something a little more refined.

It does not need to plane just need to be solid and stable. Probably looking at around three metres long and will put a 9.9hp outboard on it.

Any ideas or thoughts gratefully received.

Thanks and best regards.

We had a Dyer dinghy for over 20 years but sadly they stopped making them. I've also had Boston Whalers and Dell Quays too, they are very heavy though.

A couple you may not have heard of are

These are now much bigger and heavier.

I like the Ribeye products but the issue we have is that it will be tying up next to some pretty ropey pontoons and landing stages. There are often nails and screws sticking out hence the aim to get away from inflatable tubes if at all possible.

Thanks for the thought.

Hiya, might be able to help you here. Do you want new or used? And what size, I know of a good condition 3.0 metre one available and at a sensible price. It has grey tubes and white GRP hull. It has a 4-5Hp Yamaha on it at present which could be included, I think, but if you want to plane around 20 knots, you'll need a 10-15 Hp. 15 is a bit OTT really but let me know.

Here's a pic to give you an idea.

I've not seen it person, but I am assured it's still good and hardly used good.
