I need to replace some of my standing rigging - some broken strands at the swaged end. As a new boy, I would like some idea of the cost of replacement, before getting the job done. Useful to get a feel if the price is reasonable/rip -off/bargain.

Has anyone recently had some rigging made up (South Coast of England)? What would you expect to pay for - say - a 20 foot shroud, with swaged ends, wire diameter about 4 mm? Assuming that the old shroud is taken to the shop, so there are no on-site call out charges.

Is it worth shopping around, or is what it costs more-or-less standard.

Thanks

Keith

Don't know about 4mil.
But replaced my rigging this year which is 6 mil was quoted four pounds eighty five pence per metre
by a expert in the yachting press, Bought it locally for two pounds thirty five
per metre,
You can also fit your own ends to it, Stalok, Norseman, very easy to fit.
It certainly pays to shop around.
Good luck with it .

Thanks for the suggestions. I tried the Jimmy Green Website, and it contains some useful information. There are some nice pictures of the various terminations, which helps finding out what they are called.
