Performance rigging at Hamble Point Marina did a good job on mine. Not cheap, though.
Spencer Rigging in Cowes have a good reputation.
There's one in Gosport I've heard good things about. Can't remember the name, though.

The best one I know in Gosport is Jerry the Rigger, but good luck in getting hold of him! The last time I tried seriously, it was because I owed him money, but he still didn't call back!

I've used Jerry before, very helpful. Gave up trying to get hold of him when I needed help again and went to XW-Rigging. Very pleased with their work and Paul's determination to find time to help me out.

Performance Rigging were great for us.
Boat bought in HPM where you cannot do a rigging check when they are ashore so arranged with PR for a rigging check once launched.
It turned out we launched at the time of the Round the Island and they were as busy as hell. They kept their word to do the rigging check and, when they found a problem (by doing their job thoroughly) they spent some time, effort and ingenuity fairly late in the evening to ensure I could get away in the morning.
I was expecting to wince at the bill - they had made great efforts for us - but was pleasantly surprised.

Never heard of Rigit. Having spent a lot of time in Gosport Jerry would be my only choice there: Nice guy, very fair pricing. As others have said, can be hard to get hold of.

I've had positive dealings with both Aladdin's Cave at Deacon's and Allspars at Swanwick. I've previously had very positive dealings with the other branch of Allspars in Plymouth: extensive workshop facilities and whilst they may not be the cheapest per-hour the folks who've done work for me have been incredibly efficient.

+1 for Aladdin's cave.

Force 4 chandlery have a Solent rigging set-up in Southampton; haven't used it myself but I'd expect good quality and service, as all their other kit is.

Seateach chandlery do a fair value rigging service, I believe they've recently moved to Thornham ' Marina ' ( really a very good boatyard ) -in Chichester Harbour- their number used to be 01243 375774, I don't know it that has changed now.

Spencer Rigging are a company living on its past reputation. I'd avoid them at all costs. If you Google the company name you'll see what I wrote about them in Google. I've used Holman Rigging in the past and found Chris Holman excellent but he might have retired by now and I've no idea what the company is like now.

And after a PM to Homer J, A quick confirmation that I've had a re-rig by Rigit in Southampton earlier this season.

If you would like to know more about my experience, please private message me.
Hi, could you let me know what your experience with Rigit UK was? They have just quoted me a new forestay. Cheers

My brother in law has had nothing but delays and outright lies from them this summer. A shame as they have a good reputation down in Southampton. Incorrectly re rigged and 6 months to get to do deckwork started (still not completed) I personally could not recommend them - one of the workers they sent was a professional landscaper!

RE Rigit in Southampton - they've just redone all my standing rigging and I'm extremely pleased with their service. They've done some really nice thoughtful extras and their attention to detail is excellent.
Nice chaps, and they let me use there yard to do all the electrical wiring on the mast myself, plus lent me a rivet gun and whatnot.
No hesitation here in recommending them.

Jerry retired and sold to Ross and Gordon. Both very knowledgable and did a great job on my little Swift. Happy to recommend.
