Hello:
I have a Cetrek C-net Auto pilot which is faulty, it consists of the following units:

Pilot Display: 930-760
Compass Controller: 930-680
Steering system power interface: 930-683
Hydraulic pump: part unknown
Rudder feedback unit: 930-877
Optional handheld control unit: 930-770

When I looked over the boat I got a picture of the handheld control unit with the message 'H024' - which I assume is a heading.
The auto pilot has never worked since she was transported to my marina (by road)

The handheld control unit now shows the message 'F132' which I assume is a fault but '132' is not listed in any or the manuals.
The display unit shows the following on boot up:
'NAVBUS error or no NMEA data' for approx 10 seconds, this message goes away, and is followed by the message
'No data from controller, check power and cables, press PAGE'
If I press page this message goes away, but pops up every minute or so, between messages popping up, I can navigate around the display menu's, the heading is always displayed as 000.

I assume from the above that there is a fault on the system somewhere.
I have checked the cables and they all have connectivity (but could be an interference issue), so it looks like I may have a more serious problem.

Because I don't know what to expect when I boot the system up I can't be sure which unit is the suspect one.
For example, upon power on, should I expect any movement from the rudder motor as part of a self test function?
The head unit indicated a Navbus failure then a controller failure, but my other instruments are OK with the Navbus, does this indicate perhaps the head unit is faulty and not getting any data from anywhere?

Can anyone give any info on the error I am seeing or the symptoms I am getting? Any advice on what to expect from my system as part of the power on cycle may be of help to diagnose where to start looking for the fault.

Before I start digging around in the electronics and/or hunting down new parts, I was hoping someone might be able to give me a bit of guidance since I don't know which box is even causing the problem.

Thanks very much
Ian
