I am about to rewire a 10m twin engine fishing boat and wonder if someone more accustom to this sort of work could offer me a few tips. This is a commercial vessel and although employing a qualified marine electrician is not mandatory the work needs to be a good standard.
I am not particularly concerned about the looms provided for the engine instruments which are working OK.
The boat has 2 banks of 2 batteries each and is 24 volt.
I need to understand the purpose & position of an isolation switch, main circuit breakers and auxilliary circuit breakers.
I imagine someone may be aware of a standard wiring diagram I should be able to follow.
Help please.
