After 9years of motor boats I am thinking of going back to sail. I have had several outboard powered boats since I had my last yacht and while I enjoyed the speed I have had enough of shelling out for petrol. I have been enticed by 3 yachts and I am wondering if I should buy one of these boats or hold off and go for another make. They are a Leisure 20, Vivacity 650 and Dockrell 22 can anyone out there give me some advice on the best choice.

I have had a Vivacity 650, it sailed very well and had a lot of room for a 21 footer, it was well designed and built. Sailed brilliantly in light winds but needed to be reefed early in stronger stuff, but would handle rough conditions in Morcambe Bay and Irish sea without giving me any real worries. Keep looking for a good one, many that I have seen were in 'needing TLC' condition! Hard to beat for enjoyment-per-pound.
