Well, at 0100 DST this morning, RickP and I passed our Yachtmaster Offshore! 16 hours at sea yesterday, including all the usual night and blind nav stuff.

Big thanks to Jim from Mendez Marine (and Jon for organising it around us), and to Rick for great teamwork.

I'm shattered, but it was great fun.

Congratulations to both of you. I dunno how you two felt but when I did mine, it was one of the most nerve wracking days of my life

Thanks - was that you giving us a shout on the VHF Roger? We were a bit busy in RYA-induced fog at that point, so I didnt answer...

Really enjoyable, actually. Very, very high pressure, but we felt comfortable with it and worked well together. The examiner commented on the fact that we moved round the boat like we knew what we were doing. Now I feel like I've been beaten up...
