I need to get a bolt rope replaced on a genoa by Thursday afternoon... Any suggestions as to who is most likely to be willing to help?

Further complicated by delivery/collection... I'll drive it to wherever is needed tomorrow evening, but need to be able to drop it off outside normal working hours... And then need to be able to collect outside normal working hours Thursday, or get it couriered to Shotley/port Solent for Thursday evening... Obviously would prefer an east coast loft purely from the point of view of not having to drive too far tomorrow evening!

Any suggestions?

Neil,
give Mick a ring at Wilkinson Sails Burnham...

He will be slack now Burnham Week is finished....:p

You could try Sail and Cover at Woolverstone. They've done short-order repairs for me in the past and I always find the quality of their work very good.

Guys,

You are all legends!

If Mick can do it in time, then Jim has offered to collect it from me tomorrow and take to Mick.

Roger, if you could get it to Jim on Wed/Thur when done, that would just be marvellous!!!!

I'll let you all know as soon as possible.

Thank you all very much indeed... Yours, one very knackered Phoenix after two VERY long days getting her ready for the delivery trip... (think I did 17hrs yesterday non stop!)

A big hoorah to Wilkinson,

Sails duly collected/dropped off courtesy of Full Circle..

Mick agreed to get the job done....

MoodySabre collecting sail and delivering to Jim...

Forum power, and lots of willingness from Wilkinson sails has made my life a lot easier!

Even better, Cindy of Wilkinson sails knows Phoenix from her days in Dover!
