Managed to cover over 6000 miles today because I screwed up the speed calibration on my ST70.

Anyone know how to reset the Log, I can reset the trip ok but cannot find a way to reset the log.

By the way the instructions for calibrating the speed in owners manual beare absolutely no resemblence to what is displayed.

Lacking any other response, here's my 2 penn'orth.
Other Raymarine logs, eg ST50 & 60, cannot be reset by the user. Only the trip is resettable. I doubt if the ST70 is different.
If it bothers you, I think that the only possibility is taking the instrument to a dealer, but I think that you're stuck with it
BTW, you seem to have set an extraordinarily high calibration factor, if you leave it on that setting, the log might soon turn over to ????0.0 again !!

Thanks Earlybird that is my feeling, the calibration ofthe ST70 is an absolute pain not helped by the fact that the screens presented are not in the user manual, printed or online.

At the moment it thinks 0Htz from paddle wheel is 6 kn plan to go and stop that this afternoon on the top of the tide.
