I'm slowly reducing the number of places where the outside comes inside, and my latest is the deck hatch.
Looking at it, it has about 6 or 7 flathead screw heads on each side, attaching it to the deck. I'm also guessing from past experience that there are captive nuts on the inside.
Is it really as simple as undoing the screws, cleaning up the surfaces, and resealing with butyl tape and/or CT-1?
The only other place it could be leaking is between the acrylic and the frame? It looks old, but is it worth disturbing it to reseal, or should I leave well alone? It looks to me as if it's stuck in, so probably more involved to dismantle?
