Due back from warmer, foreign climes 'mid-April' - and, if Fox's get their act together, we should be launched by then.

As it's the first Fitting Up Supper not organised in a shallow puddle surrounded by mud, will endeavour to be present.

:eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:
If you're going I better make sure my finger is well and truly extracted in order to ensure attendance :o

Been without sufficient funds to do things the expensive way for so long it might be a bit hard to change my habits too soon :D
Working out transport arrangements with a few possibles, mainly once again, my good mate Ken coming to the rescue
Be afraid, be very afraid :D

May I raise a technical point concerning boundaries?

As every schoolboy knows, East Coast boats carry their bowsprit on the port side of the stem, in order to handle the stowboat gear, whereas West Country boats have their bowsprit to starboard in order to carry their bower anchor to port so as to be able to drop the starboard anchor and lie at open hawse during the veer.

The late Hervey Benham once told me that the change occured at Shoreham, which must therefore be the natural bounday to the Westward of the East Coast...

Oh and thanks for the kind words about the photograph, chaps...
