Reported speed of boat

We are about to inspect a boat .A westerly 35 ,Volvo2003 engine, the reported speed is 6.5 knots . My friendly surveyor advises me that this is a bit on the slow side. Assuming the prop size is correct,is not covered in crap etc, is this speed low?
What should the speed be for this size of boat with this engine???

Does not sound too bad to me. Our Moody 336, presumably lighter, same engine, two bladed folding prop, cruises at 6 knots under engine.

Seems about right to me. we have a westerly seahawk,
same engine and we normaly cruise at 5 knots. thats on a
fixed 2 blade prop.

It sounds about right. I cruise at 6 knots in flat water assuming no wind at about 2500 revs. Prop is a folding Volvo 3 blader driven by Volvo 2030.
