Can anyone point me to an article that was in PBO (I think) about replacing swage terminals with tangs. I have tried searching through the website but as usual with no replies.

Some confusion here, a swage is a means of forming a connection of some sort into the end of the wire, usually giving an 'eye' or 'fork' or loop. A tang is a metal plate bolted to the mast into which the swaged terminal fits so one can't be changed for the other.
I remember the article. To be clear, the idea is to replace the swaged t-terminals with tangs attached to the mast and then toggled attachments. That also allows the use of Norseman type fittings, replaceable without recourse to a rigger.
I'll try to look out the copy and let you know which issue, etc.
Thats the one I am after. I believe the article was by someone in the insurance industry who didn't like swaged ends and T terminals. Thanks in advance.
