hi, i am looking to replace the toilet outlet seacocks on my jeanneau 45 ds. i have already replace these twice previous in the last 8 years. but this time i want to replace with Marelon seacocks, as hopefully they will last much longer and be easier to open and close.
the seacocks i am looking to replace are traditional type 2inch seacocks. i am looking at a Marelon replacement that is 51mm but not sure if this is the correct size? this is approx 40mm internal, with 51mm external, so the connecting hose needs to be 51mm internal. this seems bigger than what i remember? unfortunately i am not on the yacht at the moment, its in greece. i want to buy the parts while in the uk, but want to buy the right size.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thankyou in advance.

"Approx 40mm" is probably 1½" BSP? 1½" is 38mm.

I used TruDesign when I replaced my seacocks - they are bulkier than regular brass seacocks and one of them didn't fit; I ended up having to put an L-piece in and mounted the seacock at 90°.

Dimensions on the last page of this PDF: https://trudesignplastics-com.s3.am...uments/8/be2d490bb2e3c1e43faa8299011d1a97.pdf

You can see from it that the 1½" BSP TruDesign has an outside diameter of 76mm (not including the handle!)

thankyou for information. the marlon diameter quoted is just the diameter of the "male" fitting that goes inside of the hose. the truDesign is "female" fitting.
