Can anyone help, I have to replace some broken glass in the portholes. Not sure how to get the glass out as the bezel holding the glass in seams very tight. Is the thread left or right handed? Any tips would be appreciated.

First, remove the Port hole, and soak in vinegar to disolve the verdigri and free of the ring.
Next look for the two grooves cut in the ring. make up a piece of steel to fit across the two and fit nicley in to the slots. Grip the porthole in a large vice then gentle tap the ring undone, or use two adjustable spanners on the metal key you have made.
Remember 'righty tighty, lefty loosey'.

Rebed the new glass on your favorite sealant. Easy!
