But time is the real variable. Michael Ignatieff put it nicely in the late 80's: "The rich spend money to save time, while the poor spend time to save money."
That's good - I'll write that down.
The funny thing is - when I did the engine overhaul I was self-employed and yet I found the time to do it. I retired last year and now I don't seem to have time for anything! (To which the Old Guvnor might respond "Except waste time on that bloody forum"!)
As somebody else once said - "If you want something doing, ask a busy man".
