Hi

Looking to replace my aging (2004) charger, with a Victron Blue smart charger. Battery charger

The Victron charger come with a fitted plug whereas the old charger is wired directly.

So my plan is to wire up a waterproof 13a socket and plug in the charger.

The charger is mounted on a bulkhead in the sugar scoop well above the waterline .

Does this sound ok?
Regards

No reason why that wouldn't work. I fitted the same charger last year, and just directly connected the wires. It's a good little charger.

Good charger, why not just cut the plug of and wire it in, same as the old one ?
